I am so excited to share that I’ve won first prize in the Poetry – Open to the Public category!
I submitted my poem “Prague” which I wrote about an evening with my late mother when we visited Prague in 2016. We laughed so hard that night and just enjoyed our vacation time away from reality.
She always wanted to visit Prague so I helped her plan and make it happen! It was a wonderful trip with amazing food, lots of steps, and beautiful memories.
I’m so grateful for my placement and opportunity to submit!
